Google Chrome: Recommended Extensions

Herewith a first stab at a list of useful Google Chrome extensions.  I browsed through the first hundred of the most popular extensions.  These were the ones that seemed most useful and best rated for my purposes.  I was not sure whether they replicated everything I could get in Firefox.  But Firefox had become terribly slow.  Hopefully Chrome would not.

A fast way to install these items would be to install Snap Links Lite into Chrome, and then use it to mark the rest and open them all at once in separate tabs.
